good morning how is everyone i am fine well for two days now my water has not froze as long as the temp. doesn't go down in the single # we will be ok joey put a board to cover up a hole going under the house so everything should be ok how is your day going

Yipes, reminds me of my days in NH with a permanent construction-in-progress and a kitcfhen drain that had to be defrosted every day.

Funny thing, Lena, I thought I would be, but after 30 years in the woods, I moved to more "civilized" haunts, and looking back, I really miss that lifestyle. Go figure.

I hope it does not freeze on you. We are expected to get temps in the low 60's this week. Our weather is flip flopping like crazy!

It is called global climate change now, since it goes both ways. My day is fine so far. The school bus broke down so my kid is still home. I just saw the sun peak through the clouds near my son's place.

Yeah, that can be a bummer.....we've been there, done that......I wish we could completely tear the house apart and rebuild, adding a basement.......we never have water pipe problems anymore, as we boarded up the hole to the crawlspace and that's worked quite well. Unfortunately, this is an old old house. Our floors are always cold so I've bought several smaller rugs for the hallway (my computer room, the kitchen and bathroom.....they really help.
We're getting warmer weather now but don't know how long it'll last....there's still quite a bit of winter left!

I have been busy with little James all Day, He is Crawling and now pulls himself up onto things so I have to keep a very close eye on him.

just remember to let each faucet to allow a small dribble of water to come out of each faucet. And they will not freeze.
