In English the shortest is "Jesus wept" John 11:35. However, I found this online and it is kind of interesting "THE SHORTEST VERSE IN THE BIBLE"

Depends on the version of Bible used. I always heard it was Jesus wept. But in the NIV its Job 3:2 He said

It is amazing the things we can learn.
