Dreams

For the past few nights I’ve had weird dreams. I dream most nights and I’ve always had detailed dreams (and dream in color), but the dreams I’ve had lately have weirded me out. One night I dreamed I was killed by Voldermort (Harry Potter) and another in which my mentor (who has passed away) came to give me life advice (I asked and she said it wasn’t a dream). I recently started a new medicine and I think its to blame. I strongly dislike taking ANY medicine, but sometimes you have to. Then I had this doosey last night.

It was summer and my dermatologist suggested I go to the beauty store and pick up some things at a store at the end of town. I went with my basket and the building was white, tall and had lots of tall windows (house of glass). I like to explore before I grab stuff and noticed the building was bigger than it seemed. I rounded a corner and saw it went into two more rooms.

Upon walking in, I noticed they were selling video games. I was intrigued and looked, then noticed they had other nerdy things like action figures, comics and Magic the Gathering cards. As I was looking, 3 boys around 11-12 came in and asked me to play Magic the Gathering with them. I said sure, nervously, thinking it wasn’t appropriate maybe for a 24 year old woman to lpay with 3 pre-teen boys. Then one of my coworkers came in wearing the sweater vest he wore yesterday (I also think he’s cute ;) and one of the boys mentioned my students name, that he said he was coming. This is strange because he is only 7 and nonverbal. Somehow my mind thought he was 12 in the dream.

Then one of the supervisors at work came in with a greasy pizza nad sat it down while we were playing (my coworker had joined in at this point). He was surprised I was there and asked if I wanted to go to since I had my heart set on going to the Cherry Blossom festival. I said no and kept playing and the dream ended.

Weird right??
