I Love This Kind of Day

For me this is the perfect kind of day. The husband is at work, the kids are all at school and now I can just stay home until it is time to pick the kids up.  I don't have any errands that I need to run, nobody has a doctor's appointment, so I can just stay home and get things done.  that is not to say that I don't have stuff I have to get done, I do.  I have orders to fill but I pulled most of the books last night so I just have to package them up and I don't think it will take me more than an hour.  I have laundry to finish up, I have to vacuum the whole house, then I have to try on dresses to figure out which one I am going to wear tomorrow because we are going to a wedding.

I put on a few pounds over November and December so I am a little scared to try on the dresses, I know I am going to be upset when I put them on.  I wanted to lose a few pounds before this wedding but ended up gaining instead.  I think this new medicine I am on is causing me to gain weight.  I have a doctor's appointment next week so I will discuss it with him.  I would like to go back on my old medication, which was also really cheap.

I also have to touch up my grays in my hair. If you look at the top of my head you probably won't notice any grays but if I lift my hair up you can see gray on my temples, so if I decide to wear my hair up tomorrow I will need to use the Clairol's Root Touch up to cover up those grays.  I love that stuff.  I don't have enough grays to do my whole head and it is sloppy and messy to do that anyways.  The just brush the root touch up on where you have grays, leave it on for 10 minutes and then just rinse it out, it is really simple.

Since I don't have to run out anywhere today I hope to get a lot of writing accomplished.
